UicvI. AGENDA and LIBERTY FAIRS announce their move to downtown Las Vegas for February 2019. Adjacent to the up-and-coming Arts District, downtown Las Vegas is the ideal home for the shows to continue to break the mold of a conventional trade show model to offer stand-out events, unique activations, and an overall elevated experience without limits. With added control over a completely unique show aesthetic and activations, the new location will offer brands, buyers, media, and industry influencers an experience unmatched by any typical trade show. Liberty Fairs presents the most exciting grouping of menâs fashion, where the progressive modern gentleman meets contemporary streetwear. Expect the same highly curated special sections of the show like Quest, Indigo, Pillars Lounge, and The General Store, accompanied by groundbreaking co-branded event efforts like Assembly. The Agenda Show, the most diverse and creative lifestyle fashion platform, showcases the best of the best in menâs sportswear, footwear, encompassing skate, surf, and lifestyle categories will continue to curate the ultimate streetwear show experience. This exciting new location gives exhibitors and attendees an updated platform to conduct business. In addition to convenience, expanded options in dining, lodging, and entertainment allow for more modern amenities with increased affordability. Some of the upgrades include Freedom and flexibility for enhanced activations and programming Complimentary Express Car Service from Mandalay Bay and Las Vegas Convention Centers More affordable downtown hotel just steps from the show Elevated dining options â Gourmet food trucks that cater to a range of food preferences, etc Arts District adjacency to inspire and fuel creativity in our brands, buyers, and guests âWith Downtown Las Vegas shaping up as the ultimate gathering spot, weâre excited to host Agenda and Liberty in such a vibrant, creative location â giving our brands a new creative platform to share their brand story,â says Tony Shellman, Agenda Vegas Event Director. âWeâre committed to not only continuing, but improving the high-touch customer service that both Agenda and Liberty are known for. âWe are always listening to our brands, buyers, and the Liberty community so we can provide the best possible show experience,â notes Sharifa Murdock, Co-Owner of Liberty Fairs. âThis move to Downtown Las Vegas is our response. We are breaking boundaries, taking control, and igniting a new tradition. We did it with Cabana in Miami, which invigorated a whole new culture, and we plan to meet and exceed these expectations in Vegas for Liberty. The possibilities for us to continue to disrupt the traditional trade show model are virtually limitless.â In addition to the new locationâs many benefits, Agenda will be creating a new footwear area on the show floor for February. The new section will feature a variety of menâs and womenâs fashion and lifestyle footwear brands which complement the brands currently exhibiting at Agenda and Liberty Fairs. âMore and more footwear brands are asking for a more intimate exhibit space, with footwear, apparel and accessory brands all displayed together under the same roof for the convenience of buyers,â added Shellman. âAs retail tries to be experiential itâs also important to engage buyers differently. Thatâs one aspect where Liberty has excelled and continues to push that boundary. Weâre excited to hear of Libertyâs continued effort to create experiences and opportunities for brands to show who they are.â Erick DeLeon â Buyer for Martin Patrick 3 âI think that the location move is something that will be good for not only the show but for buyers and retailers as well. The trade showâ as of recent has been pretty dead. I think that the trade shows have just become repetitive in nature and experience. This move will give retailers and buyers a new experience to look forward to and what seems to be a more a lively aura.â James Lee â Buyer for AWOL âThe best part about Agenda has always been the people. Conversing with old friends in the industry and getting to meet new people allows bonds to build and ideas to actually happen in real life. Refreshing the venue to downtown Las Vegas for a more modern setting is super exciting and reflective of the show and will only make all that better.â Ian Stonebrook â NiceKicks

If youâre in Vegas this week you may have already heard the news. On Monday night, Liberty Fairs and Agenda officially announced it will be moving to a fresh new home located in the center of downtown Las Vegas for the next show in February 2019, marking their exit from their long-time home at Sands Convention Center. The trade show organizers said that the new home and format will allow for more freedom, creativity, and stand-out programming in a way that is not possible in the traditional convention center format. While the exact venue hasnât been announced just yet, Liberty and Agenda are already working on new deals with downtown hotels if attendees choose to stay closer to the venue. If youâd prefer to stay on the strip, Liberty and Agenda will be providing a shuttle service from the Mandalay Convention Center and possibly at other hotels on the strip for any buyers needing a ride to the show. âWhen Project announced that they were switching their Vegas dates next season to be earlier in February, it really pushed us to find new space,â Sharifa Murdock, co-founder of Liberty told MR. âThe Sands could not accommodate both Liberty and Agenda for the new dates that Project was moving to and we didnât want to create an inconvenience for the buyers by remaining later in February. We Liberty wanted to remain co-located with Agenda, so this was the best solution for us.â âWeâve got to work together, not against each other,â added Murdock. âWe need to show more comradery and make these trade shows fun again. Our main goal is to collaborate with other shows to help our retailers and brands have the best experience they could have. You know, Iâve been in this industry for over 15 years and I remember it being fun, the industry as a whole has sort of lost that spark. You can still do business and market your brand, but we can still have a good time doing it.â And just FYI the new Vegas dates, while arenât 100 percent final, are slated for February 5 through February 7, 2019.
